Breakfast

Liebling
Øvre foss 4

Why we like it
This café aims to create a feeling of Berlin life in Oslo. We're not sure what that really means but nevertheless, it's a really nice place. Great sandwiches with fresh toppings, and a outside area for sunny days.

pizza

Lofthus Samvirkelag
Åsengata 24

Why we like it
A bakery turned pizza place at night. The pizzas have a thin, super crispy crust (the way we like it), and unconventional toppings like reindeer or kimchi. They do both red and white sauces, and are opening a new location in september!

Munchies

Why we like it
Perfecf bun-to-patty ratio, and in addition to the fairly traditional burgers like cheeseburger, bbq and bluecheese, there is always a burger of the month with more surprising flavours. This burger is just as good at 2pm as 2am.

beer

Crow Bar

Why we like it
Great looking bar with 20+ taps for both their own brews and from other breweries, and a good bottle selection. They provide almost every beer style and change the taps often. Tap take overs happen occasionally and are a fun thing to attend. If you get hungry, their pork kebab is quite tasty.

wildcard

Smalhans
Waldemar Thranes gate 10

Why we like it
A restaurant that really focuses on high quality produce and natural wines. You can either eat a single dish quite cheaply in the afternoon, or a full dinner with several dishes at night. The menu changes every week and the food can be anything from nordic inspired to asian streetfood, depending on the produce avaliable and the chef's mood. Reasonably priced gourmet option.
