Møller Kaffe og køkken
Nørrebrogade 160

Why we like it
Sustainable, organic food that taste great! A typical danish breakfast (or brunch if you get up late like us), with rye bread and as many small dishes as you think you can eat. Eggs, yoghurt, veggies, waffels, pretty much everything you need. Be prepared to wait for a table though, this place is popular.

Estate Coffee/Coffee First
Gammel Kongevej 1

Why we like it
Originally run by Estate Coffee roasters, this coffee bar has been a favorite of ours for years. New owners have taken over, but the coffee is still great. Try one of the spicy hot chocolates on a cold autumn day and take a stroll around the lakes.

Guldbergsgade 29

Why we like it
Sourdough crust, mozzarella made in-house and seasonal nordic toppings. Best pizza experience we have ever had.

Copenhagen Street Food

Why we like it
Not fancy, but it's got flavor, it's got juice and the bun holds up well while you eat. And this place gets some extra credit for its location: Copenhagen Street Food, where you'll never be hangry.

Warpigs Brewpub
Flæsketorvet 25

Why we like it
20 beers on tap that are changed regularly, and charred BBQ'd meats served directly on a metal tray with traditional American sides. Meat is ordered by the pound so practice your metric conversions. If you are indecisive or just curious, order a flight of 6 different beers to find your favourite.

Mikkeller Bar/ Mikkeller & Friends

Jægersborggade 13

Why we like it
It's ice cream made with nitrogen, made to order! We thought it might just be a gimmick, but the texture of this ice cream is like nothing else we've ever had. The flavors and toppings change sporadically, and the nitrogen vapor is entertaining to look at.

Sønder Boulevard 53.

Why we like it
It's a bottle shop, and so much more. On warm summer days, buy a few bottles from the fridge, a pizza from the shop next door and eat it picnic style in the park across the street.
